These lights came with easy to understand instructions. There are lots of options for flash settings. Here's a simple tip to hang them: use clear tape to tape them on your wall, about 3-4 feet apart. The string is so lightweight that this worked perfectly. The string was far longer than I expected and I like that they came with a remote so that you don't have to burnout the batteries. The color of lights are pastels. I would buy it again!
